People often say do what you love and you'll never have to work another day in your life. For me that is having photo sessions where my couple is enjoying the process as much as I do. The hard work of a photographer is to gain front seat access to witness two person in love. Once I become an "insider" by building trust and friendship with my couple the act of taking photos is easy. It's the same as taking photo of a beautiful dawn; 90% of my work is in getting to the location in time to catch the sun rise. I approach photography with an open mind in order to let my work grow. In general I prefer documentary style photos because of their genuine emotions and organic moods. However I don't believe in disappearing into the background altogether. I enjoy being a "movie director" setting up for moments that looks fantastic in pictures.
